new stuff

Spirit Week was fun, I guess. Sophomore participation was smaller than Debra Messing's breasts, but the whole thing was enjoyable nonetheless-- Highlight being the short shorts of Friday. The Homecoming football game was last night. It was half fun, half gay. Probably because I wore only shorts and a short-sleeved t-shirt in the freezing rain. Then the game was delayed for about an hour. And then... well, I don't really have anything else to complain about it. At least we won. Still, God, I know you read this, so, please, next year, no rain or delays on Homecoming. Plz?

Tonight's the Homecoming Dance. I am so torn about dances-- free ass but you have to dance to crappy, vain, pseudo-music. I guess it just makes me human (says Steinbeck)?? I've said it before, but I honestly miss the early 60's dancing. Sure, it looks corny nowadays, but you could actually dance to the music (i.e. Dance, Dance, Dance by The Beach Boys, At the Hop by Danny and the Juniors, et al.) Whatevs, I'll be going, and I'll probably be all emo afterwards or something.

Also, my iAudio 7 DAP should come today. I guess I'm becoming a wannabe-audiophile. Got some MylarOne XB canalphones coming, too. Using EAC, I've been re-importing my CDs in FLAC, and man do they sound good. 949 kbps is pretty impressive. Even old live recordings (Live at the BBC) are getting ~450 kbps-- not bad. I'm basically doing this only because I love The Beatles, and the new vinyl needledrops are in FLAC. I'm kinda stupid, I know.

In other news, the Red Sox won the pennant. Can you say Daisuke Matsuzaka? Actually, you probably can. But Angels, look the hell out.

presenting an EXCITING entry

It has come to my attention, as a certain "Ellyn" pointed out, that my blog has been getting "boring" lately. I will not deny that unfortunate truth, seeing as how all I talk about is... well, nothing. And that's the problem. I can't promise to excite or please your senses every time, but I'll try! After all, the three or so people that actually read this need to keep reading it-- fans are important!

Thus, my first order of business is to provide you with this photo:

Yeah, it's an old photo, so Monty, you need not point that out. For those who have not seen this picture... behold! It's a goddamn llama. Where the hell are its legs? I don't know, but please don't say that it's just sitting on them-- because it's not. It's a goddamn llamapillar that is probably cooler than any of you. I wouldn't be surprised if this llama ran for president, and won.

And speaking of presidents... www.gravel2008.us

That link leads to Mike Gravel's website. He's a Democratic running for president. Short preface: I know I am not of voting age, and I'm aware that it's faggy to be all "politically invested" at this age, because oh yes, it's so punk rawk. But with that aside, I'll be honest: this guy owns. Tells it like it is, unlike Hillary or any other top-tier candidates. So, because I know that you will not donate and will instead laugh at me or call me "gay," please just spread the link. His chances of winning are infinitesimally, infinitesimally, infinitesimally small. But one can have [false] hope, right?

Also, "Spirit Week" is this week. For those outsiders, it's basically a grade dick-wagging contest. The sophomores wear black on Monday. That's... okay. I guess it could be worse. But seriously, why bring race into it?

Physically therapy commences pour moi next week. That should be interesting. Mainly, my back problems are just annoying, seeing as how I can run/walk fine, and then the next moment, I can't. I've even been eating healthier lately. Damn you, Asian body (although thank you, body, for my awesome ass)!

Hopefully this entry was exciting enough, or something. Until next time...

the what charm?

Sorry about the lack of updating. I've been... busy. Yeah, I'll say that. Seriously, though, I have been busy, and in my spare time, I've been looking at bootlegs and stuff. So, yeah. Sorry.

Monday. Le gah. School year thus far is moving slowly; it will speed up soon, methinx. It's really not that bad... all of my classes are quite good/tolerable. I'm really tired, though, maybe I'll update this again soon.

I've been having back problems, btw. Cliffhanger for the next entry, eh?

yet another entry

Forgot to update this yesterday. Sorry. Had a cross country meet yesterday it Windsor. It was... hot. I guess.

Also, I really don't have much to say, nor much time, because I have homework to do. Instead, I'll redirect your attention to the new iPods: www.apple.com. They're pretty sweet.

you're gonna lose that girl

I changed the name of the blog. For those who don't know, it's a tribute to The Beatles' song "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill." Yeah, I know I'm a fag. But now my blog is automatically 100% cooler now. And there's a new URL-- whatdidyoukill.blogspot.com "What did you kill" is a line from the aforementioned song. Yeah, I know I'm a fag.

Also, there's this thing called school and it starts Wednesday??? Yeah, it's... weird. Whatever.

Also, why the fuck do people like Fred Thompson? He was on TV, so... they love him. Seriously, the top tier candidates don't have unique positions; they're popular only because they have name recognition. If people actually did research on ALL of the candidates, the numbers might show up quite differently. But what the hell do I know.
