Sprained ankle today.
No running in the Ithaca Relays for me.
I'll go cry now.

moravia and stuff
Moravia Relays today. The sprint medley I was in could have won had it not been for Jared. Alas! The rain/wetness/worms also sucked. Once again: where's the consistently good weather? I don't know either.
I also watched Kramer vs. Kramer today. Really interesting film. Nudity in a PG movie, though? I didn't mind. ;D
Chicken barbecue this Saturday... on... my birthday? Sux, yeah. I don't even enjoy the chicken (vegetarian).

da month
April sucks.
One day it's snowing. Then, it's seventy, Then, it rains.
WTFx.
Let's hope May will be better.
Speaking of May, the 5th is my birthday.
Give me gifts.

the return of bloggity
I apologize for the lack of posting. I cannot pretend that I have been busy, but I can blame my absence on the beautiful weather. I'll try to post more often, as I realize that it's been almost a full week without an entry.
I almost forgot what 70 degrees felt like. With the return of warm weather, I now know... and I'm never going back to winter (at least, that's what I tell myself). At yesterday's track meet, I was in the hot, powerful sun for eight hours or so, and thanks to my skin's invincibility, only got tan from it. Burnage has nothing on me.
You do realize that sometime soon I will probably get a sun burn and my cocky (lolz, cocky) attitude will fade-- not as quickly as the time it takes for the skin to peel, though.
This warm weather probably won't be blissful for too long. So, cherish every moment of it, clownboat.

a time for thought
This is my first day for two entries, but I believe that is justified.
I'm sure you're all aware of the Virginia Tech shootings. 32 dead.
This is the 7th anniversary of the week of the Columbine shootings. April 19, 1995 was the day of the Oklahoma City Bombings.
Terrible pattern.
I doubt anyone is not horrified by this incident. This will be in my head for a long time.
Nothing else to say.

so, uh...
Could someone check the calendar for me? Yeah, thanks.
Ah, what's that? April 16, 2007? Thanks. That's cool.
...Wait. April? April? Then why... is there a ton of snow on the ground...?
And a snow day?
It's APRIL!?
Yeah... Welcome to Upstate New York, I guess.
Enjoy the snow day, kidz.
